A National Technology Transfer Platform between China and Malaysia was Officially Launched

On October 28, 2015, invited by AIM(Agensi Inovasi Malaysia), Umore took part in IMC2015 (Innovating Malaysia Conference 2015). In the forum, YB Dato’s Mah Siew Keong, head of Prime Minister Department of Malaysia, witnessed the MOU signing ceremony between Malaysia PlatCOM Venture and Umore consulting which officially starts the plan of mass start-up and common innovation against Chinese policy of “one belt, one road”.

PlaTCOM Venture is a wholly owned subsidiary of AIM(Agensi Inovasi Malaysia) and SME Corp. Malaysia. As the national technology industry platform, PlaTCOM helps SMEs to accelerate technology research, develop products according to the market and industrialize intellectual property rights. MOU will support the development of science and technology projects in both Malaysia and China.

The signing of MOU is the first cooperation between Malaysia national technology industry platform and Chinese agency, which grants a high-level platform for the technology transfer of Silk Road on the sea. In the event, some good projects invested by PlaTCOM were presented, such as automobile engine hydrogen cleaning and online testing technology, rapid permeable asphalt ( hot asphalt , cold asphalt bidirectional) suitable in sponge city. In the future, Umore will gradually introduce the technology to Chinese market and inject new vitality in Chinese science and technology.
